Latest L-L-L.com Views From L-L-L.com Holders

Well I agree appraisals don't mean much for L-L-L.com or anything else IMO appraising domains the snake oil of the internet. Appraisals mean 0, if I bid $100 on a domain and someone says really estibot or premium domains or godaddy says it worth $7000, I say good then let them buy it from you. I will bet they will not even give you half, now why will they not partake in such a bargain ? Because the only appraisal that matters is that of the person making a real offer not pontificating in a domain forum or at a conference. Again IMO

I think it only natural that people who see a minimum wholesale value for LLL.com and want to establish one for L-L-L.com. But it probably too difficult this early in L-L-L.com. The majority of domainers believe in LLL.com worth and sales have supported that. The minority of domainers believe in L-L-L.com and there is not enough sales to support a shift in perception. Again IMO

I searched for the term "ydk" and looked at the archives for it. Also paid attention to the ads that came up during the searches on various engines... Overwhelmingly, Network Server Management came up repeatedly, along with Internet Technologies and management.

So I fine tuned the keywords to reflect the general interest and it has seemed to work. As time goes on, it gets more and more refined and effective, as was demonstrated yesterday.

I go through the same process for all my domains, L-L-L domains included. Relevance is critical. Don't discount the value of Search Traffic in a world where the focus seems to be on direct navigation. In my opinion, search traffic is better focused anyway. Weeds out the "shot in the dark" surfers.

The thing with L-L-L.coms they all have their own value you cant get a appraisals for L-L-L.coms because of the year's of stigma/disapproval of personal characteristics or beliefs of domainers. Yes your L-L-L.coms has a value and that value is different for each individual you come across but to an end user the value is higher as they see some think which others don't see plus they have the cash flow to make a higher purchase.

its along story which involves domain holders from way back to the new generation of niches " Supply and Demand"

I'm not a big fan of these, but seeing what some are selling for, I thought I'd see what's up on a couple for the money.
even you don't like them you know they will bring a nice ROI so you are investing in them a very important thing when you are doing business is to segregate your feelings from it, even if you don't like the business you are doing (considering it is always legal) it can be very profitable.

you need to be precise when analyzing the market to avoid loss if naysayers did that they would be saying these names would lead to nowhere but at least they would have had a profit from them as well as it was very clear regarding LLLL.com they would have a nice ROI as, in fact, they had.

I think that there is more potential for end-users to use L-L-L.com rather than LLL.com. First it is cheaper for now but say a company wants to make a big impact on the market and wants to shoot for the moon to get recognized. They can’t buy WIN.com but they can buy W-I-N.com for a few million less There is not trademark infringement Win is already branded into consumers minds and their company already has been branded instantly.

I'm not saying this just for dictionary words but the combinations are endless for any L-L-L.com. We are still in the infant stages of the net believe it or not and the changes in a few years will almost be unreal. Hyphens or not every combination
of useful words will be in demand.

The buyers are looking for the best deals on quality names. I know that I do too. I don't feel bad if I find a great deal here, and usually the seller is happy that the deal happened or they wouldn't have sold.

i have sold a L-L-L.com for $2,500 and at least 2 or 3 other people i know have sold theirs as well for low $x,xxx
L-L-L.com are 17,756 just like LLL.com and hyphens don't play a role, if you google SSG you can see in the first page S-S- dot com or SS dot com depending on the job made to these pages be there.

about 25% of L-L-L.com are developed sites, so you think they will drop? i think it is better to have your name with hyphens than with an "O" meaning online in the end hyphens or not, in the end of the day businesses want to have their name on the internet and to be widely known.
